Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau

The Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau – TH Wildau – is the largest University of Applied Sciences in the Land Brandenburg. It is situated near the German capital Berlin. Established in 1991 it has today enrolled about 3,700 students, almost one fourth of them coming from outside Germany. The TH Wildau offers 28 direct degree programs and 6 distance courses in two faculties. The international contacts comprise 149 partner institutions in 60 countries. About 75 professors and associated professors teach and do research in technical subject such as Photonics, Telematics, Biosciences, engineering as well as economics. They have excellent facilities and technical equipment at hand. Regarding third-party funds the TH Wildau belongs to the top Universities of its kind in Germany in relation to size and number of professors doing research.

EU Research Lab

The HNE Eberswalde and TH Wildau will build the EU Research Lab to develop innovative consulting and coordinating instruments within the structures of the EU Proposal Lab and the EU Project Lab. With these measures, prerequisites will be taken for the long-term establishment in the European Research Area.
